Every serious operation runs on someone who genuinely knows the craft. At Print Stitch Lab, that person is our owner, Rubel. He doesn't just run the machines — he reads them. He knows how a fabric will react under heat, how tension shifts a stitch, and how density can make or break a design before the first needle drops.
With more than 25 years of hands-on work in textiles and garment decoration, Rubel treats every order like it carries his name — because it does.
Rubel grew up inside the textile world, in a family whose roots run deep in manufacturing. That background gives PSL an edge most local shops simply can't match:
The result is world-class craftsmanship scaled down to your hat order, your team's uniforms, or a single custom jersey.
Not all embroidery is equal. Headwear — with its curved crowns, seams and structure — demands a different skill set entirely. This is where PSL thrives:
If a job is intricate, tricky, or "probably too complex for most shops," it's usually the one we're most excited to take on.
Embroidery rules for hats, polos and uniforms — but full-color graphics on tees, hoodies and jerseys need a different tool. Direct-to-Film (DTF) is that strategic advantage, and here's how a design becomes a finished garment.
Artwork is built in high resolution, color-managed and separated so it outputs clean and accurate.
Pigmented inks are laid onto clear film over a white underbase, so colors stay vivid on dark or light fabric alike.
A fine adhesive powder is applied to the wet ink. Excess is shaken off, and what remains bonds to the print.
The film runs through a heat cycle that cures the ink and melts the adhesive into a press-ready transfer.
Under controlled time, temperature and pressure, the transfer is pressed and permanently bonded to the garment.
The film peels away, leaving a smooth, flexible print built to survive real, everyday use.
Gradients, photos, shading and fine detail are all fair game — no color count to worry about.
One-offs, small batches and big orders all run through the same efficient workflow.
Cotton, poly, blends and performance fabrics — ideal for mixed garment orders.
Done right, DTF resists cracking and fading, often outlasting older transfer methods.
A digital setup means we go from file to finished product in a fraction of the old time.
Every piece in the run matches the last — critical for teams, uniforms and brands.
Intricate logos, curved crowns, tiny lettering, one-off jerseys — bring it. Complex is our comfort zone.
